Dr Amara Seabrook

Biography

Dr Seabrook has a background as a professional opera-singer and language teacher prior to her career change into medicine in 2006. She completed her degree at Flinders University and spent time training in adult internal medicine before undertaking her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice.

Her areas of interest include consultations about reducing the appearance of wrinkles, complex adult medical problems, chronic disease prevention and management, rheumatology and autoimmune disease. She also enjoys 45-49yo health-checks and geriatric medicine. Dr Seabrook has worked as a university lecturer in clinical education and is involved with supervising medical students in the clinic.

In her spare time, Dr Seabrook loves to walk her dogs on the beach, sing, and pursue her other creative interests whenever she can.
