Prior to her journey into medicine Dr Flynn had a successful career as a radiographer. She undertook her medical degree at Flinders University and completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. She has worked at Christies Beach Medical Centre ever since.
Shared antenatal/obstetric care and paediatrics are amongst Dr Flynn’s special interests, along with chronic disease management. She is highly engaged with the training and support of medical students and GP registrars.
Dr Flynn is involved with the RACGP in an official capacity on various committees involved in education and advocacy for GPs. She is passionate about assisting the next generation of doctors and specialist General Practitioners.
Please note that in order to accommodate those already under her care, Dr Flynn is currently not able to accept new patients.
“My favourite thing about being a GP is the difference I am able to make in patients’ lives.”
